Funkyard, hosted by Sunday Soul & Funk Club, is your all-day home for soul classics, funk anthems and rare groove gems from start to finish. With the DJ stage set inside a giant disco ball, expect nonstop rhythm, big singalongs and a dancefloor that stays moving all day.

Where is Jammin Rum & Reggae Festival?
The festival is located in Rushmoor Arena, Castle Road, Aldershot GU11 2FE.
Is parking available?
We have a limited amount of car parking just outside the entrance which is on a first come first served basis. Please park responsibly and do not block anybody in.
The festival is only a short walk from Aldershot Town Centre. There is a taxi rank outside the festival so we encourage people to either arrive via taxi or local public transport.
What time does it start?
The event starts at 12.00pm.
What time does it finish?
The event finishes at 9.00pm.
When is last entry?
Last entry for the event is at 6.00pm.
Can I leave the festival and come back?
No, unless you have children and you are making arrangements to have them supervised and then return to the festival. You must do this and return before 8pm. You will be supplied with a wrist band which will allow you to re-enter the festival. On re-entry you will be subject to search, and guests found to be too intoxicated will not be allowed re-admission.
Can I buy tickets on the door?
We will have a limited amount of tickets for sale on the door. We advise you purchase tickets early online.
Are children free?
Yes. Under 5’s are free with a paying adult ticket. Aged 6 to 17 years old costs £5. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and will be given a children’s wrist band. Children tickets must be obtained online. Adults must supervise their children at all times. We operate a strict “Over 25” drink policy and any children found to be consuming alcohol will be asked to leave the festival along with their adult.
Children will not be able to enter the festival on a children ticket if they are not accompanied by an adult with an adult ticket.
Is there a children’s area?
Yes. We have a huge children’s area with various fun inflatables. All the children activities will be supervised by professional staff.
Is the festival accessible for disabled persons?
We try to be as disabled-friendly as possible, but like most festivals this is very hard due to the underlying ground. The festival is on flat ground and we do provide disabled toilets. Please be aware that this ground could become muddy and difficult to move on.
Can we bring our own food?
Unfortunately food can not be brought on site from outside of the festival. We will have a range of food vendors supplying food for a wide variety of diets, including vegetarian and vegan. (We do allow a small amount of food for babies and children under 6 and children with special dietary requirements, but this must be produced on entry for inspection.)
Any other food brought onto the site will be removed.
Can we bring our own drinks or alcohol?
Unfortunately, due to our licence restrictions, NO ALCOHOL or drinks can be brought into the festival. We will have bars serving a wide variety of drinks for purchase. Drinks tokens can be purchased on site to use at the bars. (We allow baby milk and baby drinks for children under 6, but these must be presented at entry to security for inspection, and must not be in a glass container.) Any drinks or liquids brought onto the festival site will be removed.
Can I bring a chair or blanket?
Yes. You can bring fold-up chairs and blankets for the communal areas, but they are not suitable for around the stage areas and you will be asked by security to move to a more suitable area. All chairs and blankets will be subject to search on entry to the festival. Any chairs or blankets left will be removed and disposed of.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately we only allow registered guide dogs into the festival area.
Do I need to purchase drinks tokens to buy drinks?
Yes. We operate cashless bars so you will need to purchase drinks tokens once you arrive at the festival. Drinks tokens will be sold in multiples of £10.00. Drinks tokens are non-refundable.
Is there a cash machine?
Unfortunately not, however we do have the facility to take card payments for drinks tokens. Please bring enough cash with you to last you through the day.
